HeatnBond Soft Woven Fusible Interfacing is used for light weight fabrics with delicate flow. Fabrics such as flowy silks, lightweight linens and light woven cottons coordinate nicely with this interfacing. It’s useful for collars, buttons, cuffs, plackets and seams. Soft interfacing is also a nice backing for punch needle embroidery and for stabilizing quilting blocks. Woven interfacing has a grainline and is meant to be cut respective to the grainline of the fabric. It should be used with fabric that has little to no stretch. The unstructured flow of this interfacing takes on the drape of the fabric it is fused to. HeatnBond Fusible Interfacing products have an adhesive application on one side. Ironing it directly onto the fabric eliminates the need for basting and pinning. Constructing a garment or any other project using a fusible interfacing is much easier because it will not shift about.
